The free version only allowed me to edit the model on a web browser, but the performance of the tool is good and with a stable internet connection, it worked well for me.Īs I hadn’t done 3D modelling in a while, it took some time to get used to thinking in three dimensions, measuring in millimetres and converting from inches, and thinking like a 3D printer or machining tool. As I rarely use 3D modelling tools and wasn’t interested in paying a monthly or annual subscription, I used SketchUp Free to do this.
